“ First-time customer. Thank you to the reviewer who suggested the white sauce, I definitely recommend it as well. The portion of food was a good portion, fresh, and tasty. I was attended by a friendly and polite young lady. I personally ... ”
“ Awesome and tasty halal place for a quick bite. However, a bit more in quantity would be nice. ”
“ I am single and I live alone when I don't want to cook this food truck is my go too place. I really love the fry fish over rice. Thanks Chef ”
“ Nice NY style halal food truck. It’s located in a gas station parking lot and has plenty of parking available for a quick food grab. Conveniently it also has a table section for eating outside. The food tastes good and the guy working has good customer service. The portions could be a bit bigger but nothing really worth complaining about. In addition, it’s one of the only halal spots in Waterbury so 10/plate is pretty fair when you factor in supply & demand. Overall I’m happy I found this place. ”
“ Great food, the owner/operator is very nice, very clean and prices are reasonable. Only thing is the meat portion in the mix gyro over rice is small. I wish they would put a bit more meat. Highly recommended ”
“ Haji’s is the best New York style halal food in the area. Much better than those Halal guy’s franchise stores in my opinion. I went to college in Queens and tried several different food carts and Haji’s food stands up with the best of them. Now that I’m back in CT, I drive 30 min to Haji’s without even blinking an eye. I always have the chicken and lamb over rice. Only complaint would be portion sizes, but with inflation, especially with meats, I can’t blame the guy. You can always ask him to increase portion size for a few extra dollars. ”
“ My boyfriend and I recently discovered this food truck and we LOVE it! We've been back 4 times in a month lol. The food is so well seasoned and fresh; the portions are very good!! An order of chicken and rice is 10 and you definitely get your money's worth! Also, ask for extra white sauce because it's amazing!! ”
“ Tastes amazing. Great portions (especially generous portions of meat in comparison to most places). White sauce is incredible - if they sold straight bottles of it I’d buy it. ”
